Brad founded CHISM STRATEGIES in early 2013 after several years as senior partner at Zata|3 Consulting. Under Brad's leadership, the firm had grown to be America's most award-winning direct voter contact firm. Chism Strategies builds on this expertise in seamless integration of direct voter contact with other campaign messaging. Brad is at the forefront of political communications using research based solutions and behavioral science lessons in crafting both the wording and timing of message delivery.
Brad earned an honors degree in political science from Millsaps College and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University. While at Oxford he focused his graduate studies on economics. He is an adjunct faculty member at his alma mater where he teaches courses in Campaigns & Elections and Politics & Technology. Brad is the author of the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) publication, Best Practices: A Guide to Selecting Telephone Voter Contact Firms. Additionally, he has been published in the three-volume Voting in America, a collection of essays used for upper-level college political science courses, with a chapter on the role of organized labor in the electoral process.
Rob joined Brad Chism as a post-grad intern in January 2008, and after completing his graduate studies five months later, he came aboard full-time. In his first three years, Rob was involved in every facet of telephone voter contact - from running calling programs out of a Congressional campaign war room and integrating results into field planning, to allaying the fears of nervous clients when last-minute needs arose. As the firm's COO, Rob manages the firm's database and oversees all areas of CHISM STRATEGIES' operations, ensuring every calling program runs as planned. Rob uses his vast range of experience in telephone voter contact to help set the strategic direction of the firm and is involved in regular tactical decisions from his base in our DC office. Rob's accomplishments in the field have been well recognized, being named a Rising Star in American political consulting by Campaigns & Elections Magazine.
